Description

The TBICP is a one-day course that teaches participants the code requirements for installation of adhered thin brick veneer applied to the two most common backing systems – lath and plaster and cement backer board. Installation of the substrate materials as well as the installation of the adhered thin brick will be hands-on part of the learning in addition to proper detailing and layout techniques.

The class is divided into four two-hours segments, with a break for lunch:

- starting with code review

- then hands-on backing system installation

- then detailing and layout techniques

- followed by hands-on thin brick installation

Registration and Breakfast: 7:30 -8:00 am
Classroom: 8:00- 9:45 am
Break: 9:45-10:00 am
Lab: 10:00 – 11:45 am
Lunch: 11:45 am -12:15 pm
Classroom: 12:15-2:00 pm
Break: 2:00-2:15 pm
Lab: 2:15-4:00 pm
De-briefing/questionnaire: 4:00-4:45 pm
